Symphyotrichum novae-angliae (Aster novae-angliae) - New England Aster

Of all the native asters, this is the most showy. The flowers are deeper violet and large(1-2") and very numerous petals(40-50). Plants are easily 4+' tall. These plants are easy to grow in a variety of soils. Blooms Sept-Oct.
